- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★First of all, the pub was open in January, an appreciated haven for winter cruisers. Second of all, the burger was an exceptional burger. Juicy, flavourful beef and all the toppings. Far and beyond better than what's expected from marina pubs. The chowder is a rose chowder, very creamy with lots of flavour. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The food on the menu was typical bar fare and there wasn't much choice. Not many other people around when we arrived for dinner. Our sever was awesome but the food was absolutely horrific. Things were cold, the deep fryer needed to be changed badly because everything that came out of it stank of old oil and was dark and my friend's chicken burger was still raw in the middle. 10/10 would NOT recommend.By Mira Davies, August 17, 2016
